West Coast Sloper Reunions

All Slopers are welcome to the West Coast Sloper Reunion, which will be June Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27, 2009, in Yreka, California, at the Yreka RV Park, 767 Monatgue Road, Yreka  - (530) 841-0100. Ted and Loma Sloper Taylor will be arriving Thursday. Yreka is home to several retail shopping areas, many restaurants, auto service stores and 13 motels, including a Super 8 Motel, Mountain View (run by a local family), and Holiday Inn Express.

At the Baymont Inn in Yreka (530 841-1300), tell them your reservation is for the Sloper Reunion. For RV and tent reservations, make reservations in advance at the Yreka RV Park (see above).

Sloper reunions in the western United States started with extended family gatherings by Maurice Sloper in Fresno, California, in the late 1980's. Subsequent reunions have been held in Renton, Washington (July, 1993), and Champoeg State Park (July, 1996; July, 1998; July, 2001; and July, (2003), Trinity County, California (2005) and Dunsmuir, California (2007).
